To be honest there are hardly any books at all, written specifically about the Jaguar and Daimler XJC 's. There is only one in print that we know of, and even that one is incorrectly titled ! Published by Kelsey Publishing Limited for the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, it was first printed in Singapore in 1995 with the first reprint in 1997. The title of the book is ' Jaguar / Daimler XJ6 Restoration.' A quick glance inside tells you the restoration is actually of a Daimler Sovereign XJC not a Jaguar XJ6. Titles aside, it is an excellent book for anybody contemplating a full restoration. It is also a great read for anybody thinking of buying an XJC, as it goes through all the 'weak' parts on a coupe that could well require attention. There will be one more book dedicated to the XJC 's, I just have not got round to finishing it ! or should that be starting it. |
