Welcome  to  the web site dedicated  to  the XJC

The Jaguar XJC is one of the world's most beautiful cars. It is also Jaguar's rarest production car with fewer than 10,500 of them built between 1975 and 1978.

Although this site will feature coupes from around the world, it is specifically aimed at showcasing all the coupes from around Australia. Jaguar Australia imported only 241 coupes into the country, which makes the XJC quite rare here now. What is not known, is how many of them were privately imported.

Australia is lucky because even though we have so few of them, we probably have some of the rarest coupes outside of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Museum. Examples, which spring to mind, are:

The very unique series I prototype, resident in Western Australia.

One of the Broadspeed Racing Coupes, a Sydney resident.

The only XJC to leave the factory at Browns Lane without a vinyl roof.

This personalised XJC belongs to Dave Williams from Queensland, painted in Leyland "Devil Yellow" with vinyl roof removed and series III Pepperpot wheels replacing the factory alloys.

Sydney XJC enthusiast, Phil Evans, privately funds this site, and is also the XJC Register Secretary of the Jaguar Drivers Club of Australia. Phil owns a 1976 XJ5.3C in Greensand.

An enthusiast runs this site for fellow enthusiasts, so please tell me what you like or dislike, or maybe what you would like to see on the site. If you have some interesting XJC pictures that you think would look good on the web, then please post or email them.
